Website for girlfriend: make one yourself

A website for your girlfriend is a single page with your photos, your dates and your own words on it. Sweetly Yours lets a boyfriend, or anyone, build one in the browser and preview it for free.

Sample with made-up names. See all three templates.

What a website for your girlfriend actually is

It is not a business site and it is not a big project. It is one page, made for one person, that she can open on her phone. Think of it as a card that can also hold a photo album, a counter and a letter.

You make it yourself. You choose the template, type the words and add the pictures. Nobody builds it for you, which is why it sounds like you.

Why it lands better than a gift card

Most gifts say "I remembered the date." A page says "I remembered the details." A line about the dumplings you shared on your first night, a photo from a rainy trip, the number of days since you met: none of that can be bought, and she knows it.

It also fits the way people already keep their memories. Her phone is full of your photos. A page puts the best six in one place with your words around them.

What to put on it

Keep it to five things and it will feel complete.

  1. A title with her name. "For Maya" is enough.
  2. One opening line. Say why you made it. "I wanted to give you something that is only ours."
  3. Three to five photos. Pick ones where you are both in it, or ones she took.
  4. One specific memory. The weird little detail beats the big event.
  5. A closing line that looks forward. A trip, a dinner, a promise.

Example text you can borrow

For Maya

I wanted to give you something you cannot unwrap and lose in a drawer, so I made you this.

I still remember you ordering for both of us on our first night and being right. Eight months later you are still right about most things.

Thank you for the walks, the playlists, and the way you say my name when you are teasing me.

Next up: the coast in June. I already checked the train times.

Which template for her

  • Love Letter if she likes words and you have something to say.
  • Our Days if the date matters to her, such as a first date or an anniversary.
  • Will You Be My Valentine if the moment is playful, or you want a first-date question to land with a smile.

Small tips that make a difference

  • Write it the way you talk. If you would never say "my eternal soulmate," do not type it.
  • Use her nickname once, not six times.
  • Do not explain the jokes. If she gets it, it is better; if she asks, you have a story.
  • Open it on your own phone first and look at it the way she will, with the sound off and the screen small.
  • Check every photo. Only use pictures she would be happy to see on a page.

Making one for a boyfriend

Everything above works the other way around. A short letter and a counter often go over well with a boyfriend who does not like a fuss. Change the pronouns and the memory, and keep the same five parts.

Can I send it to my girlfriend today?

Not yet. Publishing a shareable link is not open. You can build and preview now.
